To help celebrate the life of Ol’ Dirty on the 6th Anniversary of his passing, DJ Stone and DJ September put together this little mix of music.
It’s a collection of dance hyphy grind groovin music guaranteed to get your dance party started.
A Tribe Called Quest formed in 1985. It was composed of rapper/producer Q-tip, rapper Phife Dawg, and DJ/producer Ali Shaheed Muhammad. Their style which is a mix of hip-hop and jazz has had a lasting impact the hip-hop culture and has helped rap artists/groups be able to change and expand the style known as “hip-hop.” Their first album dropped in 1990 and their last one in 98′. Many of their songs including ‘Bonita Applebum’ will always be known as classics.
The roots covering J Dilla recordings, with live instruments, for a whole mixtape!!! Personally to me, that sounds unreal…..This tape is def not for everyone being that its all instrumental, but the fact that the roots are providing the sounds makes up for that….So kick back, get your mind right, relax, and enjoi ☮

So if u are from the NW and this tape hasn’t been in your ears for months now u are sluffin…. In my opinion Gazmo is gonna put Seattle on the map again for real GOOD hip hop….Take a Listen and EnJoi!
