Couldn’t end Mother’s Day without the real version of “Hey Mama”.  This song seems to get me every time it comes on and makes me think about my own mother.  The guy made a tribute to his song in his second album.. so early in his career. Most rappers show appreciation to their mother after they die or after a decade when they mature and realise what they have done for them. This is what differs other rappers from Kanye.

The visuals for J. Cole’s first single off Cole World: The Sideline Story  is officially out!  Personally, I think this song is a hit but there are many out there who feel the opposite probably because of it being his first single.  However, the track is perfectly executed using a small sample from Kanye West- New Workout Plan that was played at the very end of the song then used as a FULL song for “Workout”.  Also, J. Cole also included a dope part from Paula Abdul’s – Straight Up as well.  This song is flawless!

This song was created last year but didn’t make the cut for ”My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy”.  Alot of people wondered why it didn’t make the cut or how come the song finally leaked mainly because the song didn’t fit the concept that “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy” was going in.  However, this is my first time coming across the song and I wish I had sooner since it’s such a banger!  Especially after seeing the video I posted right above this description and his acapella version of it when he performed at the Facebook offices.
